Our belief system |
|
The human being
is not just the
physical body that
we see, but is also
the mind, emotions
and the soul. When
any one of these
aspects is out of
balance, we experience
stress and dis-ease.
The ancient wise
teachers and the
fathers of medicine
understood the human
organism to be an
indivisible whole.
All aspects of our
life (history, relationships,
rest, food, health,
state of mind, lifestyle,
environment, karma,
etc.) are intertwined
and are both causal
and effectual.

C
B Ramkumar: Founder

year stint abroad
in 2006 to follow
his dream and passion
and started Our
Native Village.

was in the corporate
world for 2 decades
in advertising and
marketing. Having
set up Our Native

Several life events,
got Ram on a journey
of discovery. This
led him to explore
energy healing as
a science and become
a Past Life Regression

a Pranic healer
and a Reiki healer.

Ecological &
Sustainable living |
|
Mother Nature and
all life forms are
respected and valued,
and this infuses
our space with positive
vibrations and a
sense of wholeness.
We strive for well-being
at all levels, in
our inner environment
and in our outer
environment. We
believe the physical
characteristics
of the retreat and
the environmental
balance play an
important role in
the process of healing.
The retreat generates
around 70% of electricity
independently –
using a wind mill
and solar panels.
Most of the water
is rainwater that
is harvested from
the roofs and stored
in an 84,000 litre
underground tank.
Every brick that
is in the buildings
was hand made using
soil from the land,
and sun dried –
not fired in a brick
kiln. All the waste
on the retreat is
processed and reused
appropriately. Most
of the vegetables
in the kitchen are
from the 12 acre
organic farm that
the retreat is on.
All the soaps and
shampoos are natural,
organic and hand
made exclusively
for your use. Another
unique feature is
the regions first
100% natural swimming
pool, where aquatic
plants not chemicals,
keep the water clean.
We also support
the local economy
by making sure a
large number of
our employees are
from the surrounding
villages. For all
of these pioneering
efforts, Our Native
Village was received
several awards
